Mystery Gift codes offer you the chance to grab some free rewards for Pokémon Pokopia.
These rewards can include furniture you can use to decorate your home in Pokopia. Just keep in mind that you need to unlock the Mystery Gift feature first and your console must be connected to the Internet if you want to unlock these extra Pokopia rewards.

How to unlock Mystery Gift in Pokopia
Mystery Gift is unlocked after you’ve completed the introductory tutorial for Pokopia. To be exact, this occurs after Ditto has had a little sleep with Professor Tangrowth, Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur after lighting your first campfire.
To find the Mystery Gift feature, you need to select ‘Get Items’ from the PC at any Pokémon Center. After doing so, you’ll find Mystery Gift sitting at the bottom of the menu accessed via this option.
How to redeem Mystery Gift codes in Pokopia
Mystery Gifts can be redeemed using two methods – using a code or downloading them via the Internet – with the exact method depending on the code. Both methods require an Internet connection, but you do not need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to collect any of the gifts thankfully.
Redeeming Mystery Gifts via the Internet
- Visit any PC at any Pokémon Center.
- Select ‘Get Items’.
- Scroll down and select ‘Mystery Gifts’.
- Select ‘Get via Internet’.
- Your Nintendo Switch will now connect to the Internet, bringing up a list of the Mystery Gifts currently available for download.
- Select the Mystery Gift you want to download and then wait for it to download.
Redeeming Mystery Gift codes using Code/Password
- Visit any PC at any Pokémon Center.
- Select ‘Get Items’.
- Scroll down and select ‘Mystery Gifts’.
- Select ‘Get with Code/Password’.
- Enter a code from either the list above or an email from Nintendo.
- Wait for your Mystery Gift to finish downloading.
Remember – codes sent via Nintendo emails are unique to each player.
It’s important to note that, no matter which method you’re using, you can only download or use codes one at a time. This doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on anything, but it can take you a while to get all of your Mystery Gifts if you let them bank up.
You can also find the ‘Check Mystery Gifts’ option on the ‘Mystery Gifts’ menu. This will show you a list of all of the gifts you’ve received so far and is useful if you can’t remember whether you’ve downloaded a gift or not.
