Wheat is one of many resources you’ll need to spend some time gathering in Pokémon Pokopia, especially if you want to go about cooking up a storm or wish to turn part of your idyllic paradise into a farm. It’s also a necessary item for the Do the… Team Initiation Challenge? Important Request!
That said, it’ll be a short while before you find Wheat and unlock the ability to grow some Wheat of your own. To give you a helping hand tracking down this edible resource, here’s how to get Wheat in Pokopia.

How to get Wheat in Pokémon Pokopia
Wheat only becomes available once you have found it in the Rocky Ridges region in Pokopia. This region is unlocked after you have been able to make it rain in the Withered Wastelands. When you first approach the crop, it’ll be labeled as ‘???’ until you harvest it.
Once you do gain access to Rocky Ridges, you’ll be able to find and gather Wheat naturally from the area (shown above), though some plots may need watering first for the Wheat to grow.
After discovering Wheat, you’ll also unlock it for purchase in the shop! In the shop, five bags of Wheat Seeds will cost you 50 Coins (to be clear, that’s five Wheat Seeds in total for you to plant).
Once you have some Wheat Seeds, you can plant them in any tilled block. Then, you’ll need to water them (or set up a Sprinkler to water them for you) and they’ll slowly begin to grow over real-time.
Once harvested, your Wheat can be used for cooking recipes and is needed for the Do the… Team Initiation Challenge? Important Request, but you can also eat it raw if you fancy. Upon consumption, it’ll restore a little bit of PP for Ditto.
