Redeeming Pokémon Champions‘ Mystery Gift codes lets you get useful freebies to make your road to the top a bit easier. That sometimes includes new Pokémon without having to rely on transferring from Pokémon Home or random recruitment, too. The Pokémon Works hasn’t indicated how often it’ll make Pokémon Champions codes available, but the game did launch with one that has no expiration date.

Pokémon Champions launched with one Mystery Gift code.
The Machamp has the same stats, moves, and abilities for every player. It knows:
- Dynamic Punch
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch
- Bullet Punch
Its ability is No Guard, which guarantees all of its moves will hit and all moves against it will hit. Once you collect your Mystery Gift Machamp, it’ll automatically move to your box.
Note that you can’t send Pokémon that you first obtained in Champions to Pokémon Home. If you want a Machamp to use in another Pokémon game, you’ll have to obtain it the usual way in that game.
How to get Mystery Gifts in Pokémon Champions
You’ll gain access to Pokémon Champions‘ Mystery Gift menu after you complete the tutorial. From the main menu:
- Select “Submenu” (located on the bottom right of the screen).
- Scroll down to the Mystery Gift option.
As of Pokemon Champions‘ first season, The Pokémon Company is distributing gifts via serial codes. That may change in later seasons, but for now, your next steps are:
- Input your Mystery Gift code.
- Retrieve your reward from the in-game mailbox.
And then you’re good to go.
