Knowing how to increase humidity in Pokémon Pokopia will help you create better and more suitable environments for your Pokémon to call home.
You’ll initially need to increase humidity to complete the Yawn up a Storm! Important Request, but various other Pokémon prefer humid habitats and you’ll need to satisfy this preference if you want to attract them.
On that note, here’s how to increase humidity in Pokopia, and how to check the current Humidity.

How to increase Humidity in Pokopia
You can increase humidity in Pokopia through watering dry earth, planting more flowers and vegetation, creating water-based habitats, and increasing the amount of water in an area.
As well as being important for attracting them in the first place, increasing the humidity level can affect a Pokémon’s Comfort Level too.
Watering Dry Earth
Using your Water Gun ability to refresh and water dry tiles around an area will not only help make the tiles lush again, but will also start to increase the area’s humidity. Though this on its own is rarely enough.
Plant more flowers and vegetation
You can buy flower seeds from the PC and help more vegetation grow by watering dry trees around an area, or adding more grass using Leafage. Remember, if you buy flower seeds and want them to grow quickly when planted, take Bulbasaur with you.
Create water-based Habitats
Some water-based habitats, like the Hydrated Tall Grass Habitat, will help to increase an area’s humidity too as it combines foliage with water to create a distinct area a Pokémon can inhabit. Which leads us nicely to our final point…
Add more water to an area
You can add more water to an area by activating a blocked Spring or by adding or activating a fountain. Blocked Springs are easily identifiable as they are breakable rocks in the sides of mountains or cliffs with water trickling through a crack – use Rock Smash on them to break them and let the water flow freely. This will often end up filling up a nearby pond or stream.
Also, once you’ve got an area with water in it, then you can either clear an already existing path to allow water to flow to a fountain that’s naturally there or you can place one down in a body of water yourself. This will not only look nice, but help to increase the area’s humidity too.
How to check humidity in Pokopia
You can check an area’s current humidity level by speaking to Slowpoke and asking them to yawn. Once they’ve yawned, they’ll tell how you many points said yawn was. The higher the number, the more humid the environment is. For example, a 41 point yawn means the environment is dry and arid, but a 100 point yawn means the environment is very humid.
