Once you approach the Drakesfall Gorge Ruins in Crimson Desert, you’ll see statues of multiple soldiers holding swords in front of them. Between them, there’s a long grassy path with a large statue at the end.
Your goal with this puzzle is quite simple, but that doesn’t mean completing it is easy: you must reach the end of the path without the statue at the end seeing you.
To kick off the puzzle, go to the opposite end of the path to where the large statue is. Upon standing on the stone flooring there, the soldier statues will raise their swords and the puzzle begins. During this time, the large statue – the one watching you – will repeatedly rotate, alternating between watching you and turning its back to you.
You must run along this path (or walk, if easier!) only when the large statue’s back is turned. If you keep a careful eye on him, you’ll see that when he has turned to face you, his face will briefly emit a blue glow (and his eyes will continue to glow as long as he is looking at you).
That said, judging when this guy is facing you or not – at least at the beginning of this challenge – is perhaps the hardest part of this puzzle if you don’t have 20/20 vision.
Upon failing the puzzle, the statue’s face will glow red and the soldier statues will lower their swords. You can quickly reset the puzzle by returning to the stones at the very start and standing on them again.
Once you finally reach the end of the path without being seen, a glowing blue podium is revealed beneath the large statue and you can collect your reward: an Abyss Cresset.
