The Hunter’s Cabin Ruins puzzle in the Haunted Hill area of Crimson Desert‘s Hernand isn’t much of a puzzle at all, though it is very easy to miss altogether if you’re not too sure what to look for in this area. Fortunately, we’ve put together this guide to point you in the right direction.

Crimson Desert Hunter’s Cabin puzzle solution
Upon approaching the Hunter’s Cabin in Haunted Hill, you’ll find two men praying and talking about being saved from the Staglord before walking off. The area itself features a staircase with an altar at the top and plenty of lanterns, but look very carefully at those lanterns…
You’ll find that some of the lanterns by the Hunter’s Cabin aren’t lit, making your goal for this particular puzzle to light them all. To light them, all you need to do is walk over to and interact with them.
One unlit lantern can be found to the left of the bottom of the staircase (pictured below).
A second unlit lantern can be found to the right of the middle of the staircase, just a couple yards away (shown below).
After lighting both lanterns, the door atop the Hunter’s Cabin’s altar will open, revealing a glowing blue podium containing your reward: an Abyss Cresset.
