How to get Upper Seals in Sailor Piece

There’s no easy way to say this, but getting Upper Seals in Sailor Piece is gonna take a good ol’ stint of time, no matter which way you slice it. These rare resources only drop from killing mobs. The good news is you can kill any mob for a chance of earning Upper Seals as loot. The bad news is they have a very small drop rate unless you’re gunning for late-game mobs that pose more of a challenge. The beefier the enemy, the more likely they’ll drop a seal.

If you want to find some ideal spots to farm, your best bet is heading to areas like Ninja Island and Lawless Island, which have the toughest mobs and thus provide the biggest chance of earning Upper Seals. Once you arrive, use an AOE attack that you can spam pretty consistently and get to grinding, taking out as many enemies as you can at once to speed up your chances of getting the loot. This is probably going to be one of those tasks where you’ll need a long video essay in the background, because it’s gonna take a good bit of graft to drum up all the goodies you need…

What do Upper Seals do in Sailor Piece?

As for what you do with Upper Seals in Sailor Piece once you’ve got them, well, you’re eventually going to want to take on the new boss for the Moon Update. This six-eyed menace is known as the Moon Slayer, and is definitely, certainly, one hundred percent not Kokushibo from Demon Slayer… for legal reasons.

You can initiate the fight on Boss Island, however, the Moon Slayer will require you to bring together 1 Upper Seal, 700,000 cash and 700 gems to summon him. Once you bring him down, you’ll earn materials, the most important of which being Moon Crests, Crescent Shards, Lunar Essence and Demon Remnant. Each of these materials is incredibly useful. If you take them to the Moon Slayer NPC at the back of Boss Island, you’ll be able to use them to purchase the Moon Slayer sword, which is one of the best swords currently in the game. However, you’ll have to beat him a good few times to stack enough resources to afford it, so keeping a sack full of Upper Seals handy is key to unlocking it quickly.
