Crimson Desert Deepfog Basin Dragon Head Ruins puzzle solution
Upon approaching Deepfog Basin Dragon Head Ancient Ruins in Crimson Desert, prepare for some wolves to begin attacking you. If this happens, you can alternatively approach the ruins from the opposite side on your next attempt to avoid the wolves entirely.
Inside the Ruins, you’ll see six large blocks on the floor, as well as a statue of a dragon. Your goal with this puzzle is to move the large blocks so that they reveal a picture of a dragon.
To move the large blocks, you can simply lean against them to push them in the direction of your choice. If you wish to pull a block instead, you’ll need to stab the block, which you can do using ‘R1 + Triangle’ on PlayStation or ‘R1 + Y’ on Xbox. After stabbing the block, you can then pull it in whichever direction you wish.
If you’d rather try solving this puzzle on your own, here’s a reference image of how the blocks are supposed to look to help you out:
Alternatively, here’s how to reveal the dragon drawing using the blocks step by step. The below instructions assume you are facing the dragon statue.
- Pull the central block (the one that’s mostly orange) down by one block so it connects to the block depicting the dragon’s neck. This is pictured below.
- Push the block with the sun on it into the corner it is closest to.
- Push the block depicting the dragon’s head and the orange flag into the space beneath the sun block.
- Push the block showing the top of the dragon’s wing (left of where Kliff is standing in the below screenshot), into the space beside the sun block.
- You can likely now see where this is going. Move the two blocks in the bottom right-hand corner (which depict the dragon’s wing and neck, shown below) so that they’re below the two blocks at the top that depict the tip of the dragon’s wing.
After this, the six blocks will lower themselves to reveal the full dragon painting. That’s the puzzle complete!
Upon completing the puzzle and revealing the picture of the dragon, a sealed door beneath the dragon statue opens and reveals a glowing blue podium that contains your reward: an Abyss Cresset.
