‘Time to party’ is one of the Important Requests you’ll be completing in Rocky Ridges in Pokémon Pokopia.
Rather than focusing on improving the environment, however, this request is all about holding a party. As we all know, how fun a party is can be measured and you need to reach 100 Mood Points to ensure everyone is having a good time.
Our ‘Time to party’ walkthrough for Pokémon Pokopia will help you throw the best party the Pokémon universe has ever seen.

Pokémon Pokopia Time to party! walkthrough
The ‘Time to party’ Important Request has quite the long lead up in Pokopia. Not only do you have to fix the Pokémon Center PC, but you’ll also learn how to make three dishes from Chef Dente and make the items required for cooking. Eventually, however, you’ll reach the point where Scorbunny will want to investigate some strange noise. This will lead you to meeting DJ Rotom and ‘Time to party’ can finally begin.
To complete this Important Request, you need to reach 100 Mood Points by completing a variety of different subrequests. A number of these subrequests can be done in any order, so you might find that the order I’ve followed below differs from yours.
Here’s how to complete the ‘Time to Party’ Important Request in Pokopia:
- Talk to DJ Rotom when it has a speech bubble saying ‘Hey, everybodyyyy!’ above its head.
- Talk to Chef Dente.
- Use Rock Smash to clear out all of the Volcanic Ash in this area.
- It’s worth cleaning the entire area and saving the Volcanic Ash in a storage box. (You’ll thank me when you need to make a lot of Glass.)
- Large Lost Relics can be found by smashing the gold glowing blocks found throughout Pokopia. You may need to smash multiple blocks to find one and possibly use Water Gun if the block decides it wants to explode…
- You can display other appraised relics to improve the mood.
- Again, placing additional Party Platters with food will increase the mood.
- CDs can be found by smashing gold glowing blocks and interacting with CD racks. If you haven’t found a CD yet, then head back to where you first met DJ Rotom and interact with the CD rack next to the cabinet.
- To make Duckweed, you will need to eat a Salad to power up Leafage.
- Bringing more Pokémon with the Hype Specialty to the party. This includes Pokémon like Clefairy and Jigglypuff. Check out our Specialties guide for a longer list of Hype Pokémon and our Habitat Dex to learn which habitats you need to make for them to appear.
- Adding party-themed items like Balloons, Small Stages and more items obtained by appraising Lost Relics.
- Place more Party Platters.
Congratulations! You’ve completed the ‘Time to party!’ Important Request. Depending on the path you’ve taken through Pokopia, you’re now free to either head to Bleak Beach (access via the eastern Area Gate in Withered Wastelands) or Sparkling Skylands via the northern Area Gate in Rocky Ridges.
In Bleak Beach, you’ll have to complete the ‘Brighten things up!’ Important Request, while Sparkling Skylands involves finishing the ‘Rebuild the huge building!’ Important Request.
It’s a good idea to rebuild the Rocky Ridge Pokémon Center and get the Environment Level to 5 before you leave though.
Hope you enjoyed the party! If you’re looking for more Pokopia knowledge, then check out our guides on the Pokédex, Habitat Dex, Mystery Gift codes and how to get Lumber.
