Hernand Castle strongbox puzzle solution
To solve the Hernand Castle strongbox in Crimson Desert, you need to play a little tune on the piano connected to it. You can hear the tune by using the gears on the right-hand side of the box if you so wish.
Below you’ll find the Hernand Castle strongbox puzzle solution. Please note that ‘top level’ refers to the top three keys and ‘bottom level’ refers to the five bottom keys with the key order being described as left to right:
- First key on the top level.
- Fourth key on the bottom level.
- Third key on the bottom level.
- Fourth key on the bottom level.
- Third key on the top level.
- First key on the bottom level.
- Third key on the top level.
Congratulations! You’ve opened the Hernand Castle strongbox and now collect the Lavish Meal recipe hidden inside.
Just remember to be wearing your mask so you can steal this reward and maybe go into hiding until the theft crime warning has vanished.
Hernand Castle strongbox puzzle location
Before you start looking for the Hernand Castle strongbox puzzle, it’s important to note that you need a key to access the room it’s in. Despite my best efforts, I haven’t found a window that will let me into the room yet. Keys can be purchased from the Hernand Back Alley Shop or found throughout the world.
When it comes to finding the strongbox itself, you, unsurprisingly, need to head into Hernand Castle itself. This means it’s a good idea to have the Hernandian Attire equipped, unless you fancy scaling the walls.
Once you’ve inside the castle grounds, head to the main building and climb the stone steps to your right. Now take the set of the stairs in the next room and keep going until you run out of stairs to climb.
You should now be on a small landing with a singular door. Head inside and you’ll find the strongbox. It’s a good idea to check to see if anyone else is in the room before you start thieving!
