Southern Bluemont Manor strongbox puzzle solution
Here’s how to solve the southern Bluemonth Manor strongbox puzzle, going left to right with the cylinders:
- Raise all of the cylinders until you’re no longer able to do so.
- Lower the first cylinder 5 times.
- Lower the second cylinder 2 times.
- Lower the third cylinder 4 times.
- Lower the fourth cylinder 3 times.
- Lower the fifth cylinder 5 times.
- Press the right hand button before turning it right.
- Steal the treasure inside.
If the puzzle isn’t solved after following my instructions, take a close look at how the cylinders look after you’ve pressed the right-hand button. Always make sure the silver part is fully in the picture, the gold section fully in the wooden section and the black line level with the edge of the wood. You may just need to lower or raise one cylinder.
For solving this puzzle, you’ll be rewarded with the Finely Crafted Gold Necklace. This provides a 1 Attack stat boost and a Lv 1 Critical Rate boost. Don’t forget to wear your mask and be prepared to be marked with the theft crime for a short period after picking it up.
Southern Bluemont Manor strongbox puzzle location
The Southern Bluemont Manor strongbox can be found in the south-east building of the Bluemont Manor estate. This building is directly south of where you’ll find the Northern Bluemont Manor strongbox.
To reach it, climb up onto the balcony which is to the left-hand side of the front door. There you’ll find a collection of windows that can be opened to let you in without needing to spend a precious key. The strongbox can be found by leaving the room you find yourself in and walking along the hallway to the next room. You’ll see the box near the door in this room. Just make sure no-one else is in the room!
