Ice is one of the rarest materials in Pokémon Pokopia, but, thankfully, it can’t melt.
Due to its rarity, you might want to ignore Ice all together but that would be a bad idea. Not only can it be used to raise Pokémon’s Comfort Levels but it’s required for getting Articuno. Thankfully, I’ve found some reliable Ice locations so read on to learn how to get Ice in Pokopia.

How to get Ice in Pokopia
When hunting for Ice, you need to keep a look out for blue blocks with snowflakes in them. Here’s my top three picks for Ice locations in Pokopia:
- Clefairy Doll Dream Island (Rock Peak)
- Palette Town
- Suicune’s chamber
Personally, I recommend using the Clefairy Doll Dream Island (Rock Peak) as your main source for Ice as it’s the only one guaranteed to refresh on a daily basis. To find the Ice, you need to head into the caves found at the bottom of the mountain in the centre of the island. You might not always find a large amount of ice, but it will always be there.
If you want to look elsewhere, however, Palette Town is your next best bet. Ice can be found within the hill just south of the Pokémon Center. To reach it, send Ditto into the waterfall and you’ll discover the entrance to a cave.
Heading down into this cave, you’ll find blocks of Ice in the walls. Just keep in mind that, unlike the Clefairy Dream Island, this Ice won’t refresh. Once you’ve used this Ice, it’s gone!
Finally, there’s Suicune’s chamber. I’ll admit that this is an odd pick, but I thought it was worth mentioning. If you’re lucky enough to find Suicune, then you’ll see that its chamber is made out of Ice. There’s quite a lot of it too, so make sure you grab it. This chamber can reappear even after you’ve found Suicune and moved it to a habitat!
