How to get Victory Points in Pokémon Champions

You can get Victory Points by taking part in Ranked Battles, completing missions, finishing Training sessions and as Battle Pass rewards. This means there are plenty of ways for you to obtain Champions’ main form of currency!

Ranked Battles

The easiest way of getting Victory Points is to take part in Ranked Battles. This is because you’ll earn VP whether you win or lose the battle you’re taking part in – meaning you can never really lose out!

You’ll win a lot more VP if you’re the winner of a battle, but even if your own Pokémon have hit their limits and lost, you’ll still walk away with something.

Missions

You can find your currently complete missions by selecting the ‘Mission’ option at the bottom of your screen. Here, you’ll be able to find all the daily, weekly, starter and membership missions currently available to you.

Completing some of these missions will reward you with VP. You can tell which ones these are as they have a present icon next to the task.

Training Sessions

You can also earn a few bits of VP by completing training sessions. These are a solid way of boosting your VP when you first start out in Champions, especially as the Double Battles part of the Battle Tutorial menu gives you a staggering 10,000 VP upon completion.

Battle Pass Rewards

This is the most expensive way of earning VP, because you’ll need to have paid for the Battle Pass to access its rewards. There are a variety of things for you to obtain as you work your way through the Battle Pass, VP included.

How to use Victory Points in Pokémon Champions

You can use Victory points in Pokémon Champions to buy items from the Frontier Shop, recruit new Pokémon at Roster Ranch and most importantly it’s needed to change a Pokémon’s moves, stats and abilities.

In short, it’s very important and you’ll want to collect as much of it as you can. Fortunately, you’ll find yourself passively collecting large sums of VP just by simply participating in everything available to you in-game.

That’s all for now! If you’re looking for more Champions help, check out our Mystery Gift codes page or our page detailing how to equip Mega Stones.
