How to get Glass in Pokopia
You can get Glass in by putting Volcanic Ash or Sand into a Smelting Furnace in Pokopia. Remember, to use one of these you must have a Pokémon with the Burn Specialty.
1. Find Volcanic Ash or Sand
You can readily find Volcanic Ash around Rocky Ridges. You’ll even have to clear some as part of the ‘Time to Party’ Important Request in this area.
Volcanic Ash is the dark grey sand-like blocks covering the majority of areas around Rocky Ridges. Walk up to a block and use Rock Punch on it to crumble it down, then press Y to pick up the pieces it drops.
You can find Beach Sand in Bleak Beach and it’s pretty easy to come across as they’re the big beige blocks scattered across most of the area. You’ll also find Ordinary Sand in Sparkling Skylands, near where you’re tasked with fixing an elevator platform.
2. Find or Craft a Smelting Furnace
You can craft a Smelting Furnace, or use the one nearby in Rocky Ridges north-west of the Pokémon Center. No matter how you come upon one, you need to take your Volcanic Ash or Sand pieces to a Smelting Furnace
Find a Pokémon with the Burn Specialty
Once you’ve located a Smelting Furnace, you then need to find a Pokémon with the Burn Specialty (like Scorbunny). Take them to the Furnace’s location.
3. Make Glass
Now all you have to do is place your Volcanic Ash or Sand into the Smelting Furnace. Get your chosen Pokémon to light it and wait for it to be processed into glass!
