CD Projekt RED CEO Michał Nowakowski has revealed during a video discussing the company’s 2025 results that its new IP, Project Hadar, is making solid progress.
The team has established the foundations of this entirely new IP[…]designing specific elements that might be included in the game, creating multiple prototypes and implementing them directly in Unreal Engine.
Not much is known about Project Hadar, although a job listing posted by CDPR last year requested that developers interested in applying for a role have at least fie years of experience, “preferably in RPG/Action titles with melee-oriented combat.”
CDPR is currently working on a number of projects, including The Witcher IV and the next chapter in the Cyberpunk franchise. The Witcher IV is not going to be released until after 2026, so there’s no release date in sight for that just yet, while Cyberpunk 2 is still in the pre-production stages and is therefore still a long ways off.
