Ubisoft has released some interesting stats for Assassin’s Creed Shadows after the game celebrated its first anniversary on March 20, revealing players have performed a staggering 58,233,600 Leaps of Faith.
That’s not all! Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, like many video games nowadays, allows you to pet various animals and players have officially petted 26,001,748 cats. Beyond that, players have put a massive 334,384,499 hours into the game sine release, dispatched a whopping 4,007,363,535 targets, and honoured 159,623,873 shrines. Finally, it was revealed that players fell in conflict to a melee attack in regards to the top cause of death.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. Ubisoft has supported the game with a wealth of post-launch patches, the most recent of which arrived in February and implemented a manual jump option and various bug fixes. The game also received a full expansion in the form of Claws of Awaji in September 2025.
Speaking during an interview with IGN this month, the game’s art director, Thierry Dansereau, stated their belief that a lot of the tech and features that were implemented in Assassin’s Creed Shadows will likely make the transition to future entries in the franchise. Speaking of future Assassin’s Creed games, the next major instalment is Assassin’s Creed Hexe, a medieval-set adventure that is reportedly targeting a Holiday 2027 launch.
