Environment Level refers to the overall quality of a location in Pokémon Pokopia.
It’s worth taking the time to increase a location’s Environment Level as doing so will unlock more items and challenges in the PC Shop. This means you’ll have more furniture and other useful items at your fingertips in Pokopia.

How to increase Environment Level in Pokopia
There are two ways to increase the Environment Level of any location in Pokopia – befriending new Pokémon and raising Pokémon’s Comfort Level.
Befriending new Pokémon, of course, means attracting them using habitats. This means it’s always a good idea to focus on building habitats straight away when you reach a new location as this will help you quickly raise up the first couple of Environment Levels. You should continue building habitats as you spend more time in the location via from the ones you find from traces or requests. You might even discover a habitat by yourself when experimenting with furniture combinations!
The main way you’ll find yourself increasing the Environment Level, however, is by raising Pokémon’s Comfort Levels. This is far more reliable as it doesn’t leave you waiting around for Pokémon to appear! You’ll be notified whenever you reach a new Environment Level. Heading back to the PC afterwards will unlock new items in the shop and new challenges too.
How to check Environment Level in Pokopia
To check the Environment Level for a location in Pokopia, you need to head to the PC next to the Pokémon Centre. Once there, you’ll be able to see the current Environment Level at the top of the main PC menu.
Pressing the Minus button (-) will bring up a list of every Pokémon currently in this location organised by their Comfort Levels. This will give you a good idea of whose Comfort Level should be focused to make increasing the Environment Level a little easier.
