Character customisation in Pokémon Pokopia is one of the first things you’ll do after being introduced to the Ditto you’ll be parading around as.
While your basic features will be Ditto-like, there are parts of your character you can make unique to you and your preferences – especially as this Ditto is trying to imitate their long lost Trainer in Pokopia.
On that note, here are all character customisation options in Pokémon Pokopia explained.

Character Customisation in Pokémon Pokopia explained
After greeting Ditto when booting up Pokopia, you’ll be thrust into the character customisations option to make your basic and first version of your character.
Don’t panic though, most custom features can be changed later – the only thing that you cannot change is your Dittos’ name – so choose wisely. You can change your appearance in a variety of ways, including visiting a mirror.
Here’s a list of every customisation option you’ll have in Pokopia:
- Face Colour – You will have 11 skin shades to choose from, including the classic Ditto purple.
- Hairstyle – Initially you’ll have seven styles to choose from, though as you progress through Pokopia you’ll be able to unlock more hairstyles.
- Hair Colour – After picking a snazzy hairstyle, you can choose an equally as snazzy hair colour. From subtle browns and blondes to a vibrant red, and my personal favourite, a bright purple – you can choose and change your hair colour as much as you’d like without worrying about damage!
- Outfits – At the beginning you’ll only have two outfits to choose from, but as you progress more through Pokopia and help more Pokémon you can unlock a variety of different outfits.
- Tops, Pants, Shoes – Don’t like any of the set outfits? Mix and match different styles and colour choices through picking separate tops, pants and shoes.
- Headwear – A Ditto with a hat is less suspicious-looking than one with a hat, though this Ditto parades around as a human with long arms and oddly long fingers, so…
- Bags – Finally, you’ll need a bag that hangs out on your back to complete your ‘I am definitely a human’ ensemble.
