Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition Has Been Rated In Korea – PlayStation Universe

Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition has been rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee Of Korea, suggesting a re-release of the game is on the horizon.

SEGA hasn’t announced anything about a Definitive Edition version of Sonic Frontiers yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see one. After all, Sonic Mania and Sonic Origins Collection were re-released after their initial launch with additional content, so we could see the same thing happen with Sonic Frontiers given that it received a number of post-launch updates.

Sonic Frontiers was released for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in November 8, 2022.

The game marked a major departure for the Blue Blur, as it features an open world structure combined while retaining the series’ emphasis on speed and platforming. The game sees Sonic and his pals falling through a wormhole and left stranded in Cyber Space, an artificial dimension of the Starfall Islands. After escaping, the speedy hedgehog sets about rescuing his friends by defeating Titans across the island, which can only be done by collecting the Chaos Emeralds.
