The Crush Specialty in Pokémon Pokopia is an ability that many Pokemon can use to crush up certain materials and turn them into something else for you to use, such as Paint! And if you wish to customise your decorations with different colours and patterns, you’ll need to crush multiple materials into different colours of Paint.
To do that however, you’re going to need some reliable Pokémon with the Crush Specialty. To help with that, here’s the Crush Specialty explained, including a list of all Crush Specialty Pokemon in Pokopia.

Pokopia Pokémon with the Crush Specialty
Here are all Pokémon that know the Crush Specialty in Pokopia:
- Onix
- Conkeldurr
- Pawmo and Pawmot
- Dugtrio
- Geodude
- Graveler
- Golem
- Larvitar
- Pupitar
- Tyrantrum
- Amaura
Of the above ‘mons, Onix is the first Pokémon with the Crush Specialty that you’re likely to encounter. You’ll find this Pokémon and be able to invite them to live in your town as part of the ‘Yawn up a Storm!’ Request in Withered Wastelands.
There are, of course, more Pokémon with the Crush Speciality. You can see which ones you’ve found so best by filtering the Pokédex to only show Pokémon with this Specialty. By then pressing ‘+’ on one of these Pokémon, you’ll also be able to begin searching for them and can ask other Pokémon where to find them.
Pokopia Crush Specialty explained
Pokémon that have the Crush Specialty in Pokopia can process materials and turn them into other items. For example, you can give a Crush Specialty Pokémon such as Onix some Leppa Berries and they will turn this into Red Paint (though we’ve noted more Paint examples below). These ‘mons are also used for processing materials like Concrete.
| Berry Type | Paint Produced |
|---|---|
| Leppa Berry | Red Paint |
| Chesto Berry | Blue Paint |
| Aspear Berry | Yellow Paint |
| Pecha Berry | Pink Paint (TBC) |
| Rawst Berry | Cyan Paint (TBC) |
| TBC | Green Paint |
| TBC | Black Paint |
| TBC | White Paint |
This Red Paint – or whatever Paint you make – can then be given to the Paint Specialty Pokémon, Smearguru, to customise decorations and furniture with different colours and patterns.
