Mojang Studios and Double Eleven have announced that action-RPG sequel Minecraft Dungeons 2 is launching in 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 opens as disorder begins to brew and a new threat is facing the world unlike any other before, but as the old saying goes, a hero’s work is never done. This is where you come in, returning to the world of Minecraft Dungeons to face high-stake encounters, thrilling challenges, and brand new locations as you embark on a journey to save the world from a new crisis.

The original Minecraft Dungeons was released in 2020 for PS4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One. A spinoff to the insane popular Minecraft, the game adopts a point-and-click hack ‘n slash template that uses an isometric viewpoint, as opposed to the open world building affair of the main game. Players are able to explore procedurally generated, hand-crafted dungeons that are packed with randomly-generated enemies while solving puzzles, disabling traps, and hoovering up treasures.
