Tomato in Pokémon Pokopia is one of many resources you’ll likely spend some time gathering or farming. As an edible crop, Tomato can be used for restoring PP or cooking up some delicious recipes for yourself or your fellow Pokémon.
That said, you won’t be able to find or farm Tomato right away, as there are a few steps before you can unlock it. To help you with getting your hands on this edible item however, here’s our guide on how to get Tomato in Pokopia.

How to get Tomato in Pokémon Pokopia
You can get Tomato in the Bleak Beach region or grow it from Tomato Seed in Pokémon Pokopia.
1. Unlock Bleak Beach
Tomato only becomes available once you have found it in the Bleak Beach region in Pokopia. This region is unlocked after you’ve completed the ‘Yawn up a Storm’ Important Request in the Withered Wastelands.
2. Gather Tomato
Once you have unlocked Bleak Beach, you will be able to find and harvest Tomatoes naturally from the area north-east of the Pokémon Center, though some plots may need watering first. You’ll then need to wait for the Tomato or plant to grow to be able to harvest it.
3. Grow Tomatoes from Tomato Seeds
After discovering Tomatoes out in the wild, you’ll also be able to unlock them for purchase in the shop! In the shop, five bags of Tomato Seeds will cost you 50 Coins (to be clear, that’s five Tomato Seeds in total for you to plant).
Once you’ve got your hands on some Tomato Seeds, you may plant them in any tilled tile. Then, you’ll need to water them regularly or set up a Sprinkler to do the watering for you. After a short amount of real-world time, you can then return to and harvest your Tomatoes. If you want to speed things up, you can use Pokémon with the Grow Specialty, like Bulbasaur.
Once harvested, Tomatoes can be used in cooking recipes, but you can also eat them raw to restore some of your PP if you’re in need.
