How to get Suicune in Pokémon Pokopia

Suicune is one of the legendary Pokémon you can meet and make a habitat for in Pokémon Pokopia.

Finding Suicune, however, can be quite tricky as they only appear in one specific location and don’t spawn from a habitat like other Pokémon. (Plus there’s a whole random element at play.) Don’t worry though, I’ll show you how to get Suicune in Pokopia down below.

How to get Suicune in Pokopia

To get Suicune you need to visit the Eevee Doll Dream Island (Wasteland) in Pokopia. Though you may get luck using either the Ditto or Substitute Doll as both can send you to a randomly selected island.

What’s important to remember, however, is that you can only visit one Dream Island per day and the layout of that island is selected randomly. Whether Suicune appears is included in this random selection, so you may have to visit the Eevee Doll Dream Island multiple times to find Suicune. (Time travel is always an option if you’re desperate!)

1. Check to see if Suicune is on the Eevee Doll Dream Island

To check whether Suicune is present on the island, you need to head to the mountain standing at its centre. At the base of this mountain, you’ll find at least two cave entrances. Suicune has the chance of appearing in these caves, so you’ll always need to check both.

You’ll know when you’ve found Suicune because you’ll find a wall of ice blocks! Now you simply need to smash your way through these blocks – no Hamburger Steak required.

2. Talk to Suicune

Doing so will lead to a conversation with Suicune and you’ll need to select ‘I would love to!’ when Suicune asks you to show it where you live. After this, you’ll be given the option to return to Drifloon automatically with Suicune. I recommend taking this option as it will prevent Suicune from accidentally becoming stuck in the cave.

If Suicune is the third legendary dog you’ve met, you’ll also unlock the Clear Bell recipe at this point.

Don’t worry about missing out on the Dream Island though. You can always return again by talking to Drifloon. I recommend taking the time to backtrack to Suicune’s cave as, not only does it contain a Yellow Poké Ball that will give you three Rare Pokémetal, but it’s made out of Ice Blocks. These blocks can be very hard to find and are required for building Articuno’s habitat.

3. Make a habitat for Suicune

Back to Suicune though! Once you’ve left the Dream Island, Suicune will continue following you. It’s now time to make them a habitat. Personally, I made an easy habitat like ‘Tall Grass’ to ensure I had Suicune saved in a location. Though, I do plan on making my favourite legendary a far fancier home.

No matter which habitat you decide to make, once it’s done talk to Suicune and select ‘Wanna move in here?’ followed by ‘Yes, it will indeed’. Congratulations! Suicune is now living in one of your habitats. It’s a good idea to spread out your legendaries across multiple locations as improving their Comfort Levels will provide a considerable boost to an area’s Environment Level compared to other Pokémon.

Best of luck finding Suicune! We’ve got guides on the other legendary dogs – Entei and Raikou – along with the complete Pokopia Pokédex and Habitat Dex.
