Pokémon Pokopia is set to have limited-time events that temporarily introduce new Pokémon, materials, and decorative items to the game, and the first of these is More Spores for Hoppip. As the events are time-limited, you’ll only have a couple of weeks to complete them and reap the new items from them.
To help you get a headstart with what to expect from the event and what you’ll need to do to complete it, here’s everything you need to know about Pokopia’s More Spores for Hoppip event.

Pokémon Pokopia More Spores for Hoppip event explained
Pokopia’s first limited-time event, More Spores for Hoppip, will be available from 8pm GMT on 9th March, 2026 until 7:59pm GMT on 24th March, 2026.
This event introduces Hoppip – the Cottonweed Pokémon – to the game and gives you the opportunity to befriend them, build habitats for them, and more. During this time, you’ll also be able to collect a material known as ‘special cotton spores’ that can then be exchanged for picnic-themed items to adorn your Pokopia paradise with.
By using picnic-themed furniture to create habitats, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet and befriend two more new additions to the game: Skiploom and Jumpluff.
Unfortunately, Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff will not be available in Pokopia outside of this limited-time event. So, you’ll want to log on and befriend them between 9th March and 24th March or else you may miss out on them. There’s no word as to whether or not these Pokémon will return to Pokopia in future.
It’s also worth noting that this event is only available to players who have a town with a rebuilt Pokémon Center, so you’ll want to get to work doing that if you haven’t already. The event is also unavailable for Cloud Islands.
