MOOSA: Dirty Fate Is A Dark Action Game Set In 17th Century Korea, Due Out On PS5 In 2027 – PlayStation Universe

IGGYMOB, the studio behind Gungrave G.O.R.E, has announced development of dark action game MOOSA: Dirty Fate, which is launching in 2027 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Set in 17th century Korea, during a time where the Little Ice Age brought an era of extreme climate anomalies, great famine, and horrific epidemics. Korea was no exception to the mass starvation and despair during this time, and it’s here that MOOSA: Dirty Fate opens as you follow Gunn, a warrior who has lost everything to vengeance.

Players will find themselves battling against demons disguised as humans and their followers, while attempting to unearth the truth behind the legendary IMUGI. Nothing else matters but your ultimate goal — to reclaim your life. The Joseon Dynasty backdrop is packed with breathtaking mountains and rivers juxtaposed with famine-ridden slums and shadowy back alleys.

Your sword and bow are at the heart of battles, where you’ll face off against overwhelming legions of foes in large-scale combat, as well as duelling in one-on-one boss fights against hulking creatures inspired by Korean folklore. The bow offers a distinct combat style that “sets MOOSA apart from traditional action games,” reborn as a “strategic weapon capable of turning the tide of battle.”

MOOSA: Dirty is due out on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in 2027.
