T.C. Carson, the original voice actor for Kratos in the early God of War games, has revealed during an appearance at MEGACON in Orland, Florida, has touched on his return to the franchise with the upcoming God of War Trilogy Remake.
Turns out, developer Sony Santa Monica came back to Carson for the project after realising they let him go ‘prematurely,’ the actor said. He mentions someone called Eric, who is presumably God of War Ragnarok Eric Williams.
“They came back after they realized they let me go prematurely. Great conversation, though. Eric came out, we had dinner, we talked about it, and he told me what they wanted to do, and I was down for it,” said Carson. “I believe that when the universe puts work in front of us, when we obtain that work, we work through that work, and when the work is over, we go and find other work.”
The God Of War Trilogy Remake was announced during Sony’s February 2026 State of Play broadcast, although at this point it appears the project is still some ways off as we don’t have any indication of a release window for the first remake.
