Gray Zone Warfare Is Planning To Launch On Consoles With Version 1.0 – PlayStation Universe

MADFINGER Games has announced that Gray Zone Warfare is set to launch with version 1.0 of the open-world tactical shooter.

Speaking on X in response to a fan asking about the console version, Rick Lagnese, PR Director at MADFINGER, simply commented, “Console release is planned for 1.0.”

Gray Zone Warfare takes place on a quarantined Southeast Asia island that has been reshaped by a mysterious Event, taking inspiration from the Roadside Picnic novel. Three armed factions have been deployed in the region – Mithras Security Systems, Crimson Shield International, and Lamang Recovery Initiative – and now battle for control of the island. The game’s open world where every operation leaves its mark; there’s no timed raids or resets, with players able to freely explore and survive conflicts through their own choices.

Gray Zone Warfare employs an authentic ballistics system and realistic, full-body injuries, while players can form a fireteam using hundreds of modular parts allowing you to adapt to your mission and environment. Furthermore, you can play solo or team up with up to three friends in cooperative PvE, or engage in PvEvP for an added challenge.

MADFINGER Games originally released the PC version of Gray Zone Warfare back in April 2024 via Early Access.
