How to open the Western Court strongbox in Crimson Desert

Solving the Western Court strongbox puzzle in Crimson Desert involves sliding panels to make a rather fetching image of a sheep. One of the hardest parts of this particular strongbox is actually finding it, because there’s a secret area beneath the Court. How to open the Western Court strongbox in Crimson Desert

To solve the Western Court strongbox puzzle you need to slide the panels to create a picture of a sheep. Now, before you get started, I highly recommend creating a save file before touching the puzzle. This way, if you’ve made a wrong move, you can revert the save to reset the puzzle and try again.

Here’s the Western Court strongbox puzzle solution, and which panels to move:

1. Move the bottom middle square right once.
2. Move the bottom left square right once.
3. Move the left square of the middle brown down once.
4. Move the middle square of the middle row to the left once.
5. Move the right square of the middle row to the left once too.
6. Move the right square on the bottom row up once.
7. Move the middle square of the bottom row to the right once.
8. Move the left square of the bottom row to the right once too.
9. Move the left square of the middle row down.
10. Move the middle square of the middle row left.
11. Move the middle square of the bottom row up once.
12. Move the left square of the bottom row to the right.
13. Move the left square of the middle row down.
14. Move the middle square of the middle row to the left.
15. Move the middle square of the bottom row up.
16. Finally, move the right square on the bottom row to the left and you’ll have a sheep!

Open the strongbox to collect the reward item which is Karanda’s Necklace.

Western Court strongbox location

The Western Court strongbox can be found in an underground chamber beneath the Western Court in Demeniss. We’ve marked the building’s location on the map below:

However you choose to get into the building (I chose to climb up to the first floor south-west window), you need to head downstairs and look for the curtain beneath the bottom layer of the stairs.

Walk through this, then turn right and carefully climb down the hole into the chamber below. Follow the path here to find the strongbox at the end of the chamber on the wall.
