Third Shift and Annapurna Interactive have announced Forever Ago, the single-player roadtrip adventure game originally announced in July 2020, is finally launching in Fall 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
Forever Ago sees players taking on the role of Alfred as he is picking up the pieces after a recent tragedy. Armed with an instant camera, he hops in his minivan and embarks on a journey in hopes of finding redemption.
Throughout the adventure Alfred will explore a range of gorgeous locations and brush shoulders with a diverse group of characters, while visiting locations including serene forests, deserts, and more. Players will use their instant camera to capture these moments and document Alfred’s journey, as well as solving minor environmental puzzles while learning more about the people and locations throughout the adventure.
Forever Ago is scheduled to launch for PS5, PC, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S in Fall 2026.
