Lugia is one of the Gen 2 legendaries you’ll spot flying across the horizons in Pokémon Pokopia. (The other being Ho-Oh.) Now you’re probably wondering – can I meet Lugia or is it just there to look cool? Thankfully, the answer is yes. You can meet Lugia and add it to your Pokédex, but you’ve got to meet some requirements first so let’s take a look at how to get Lugia in Pokopia.

How to get Lugia in Pokopia
To get Lugia in Pokopia, you first need to find Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. These are the legendary birds of the Kanto region and it will take you a lot of resources to meet them. Plus, you’ll have to sacrifice a good amount of room!
Once you’ve met all three birds, you’ll automatically unlock the Tidal Bell recipe. This is what you need to meet Lugia! It will cost five Silver Feathers and five Rare Pokémetal to make.
After crafting the Tidal Bell, you need to wait for Lugia to be flying overhead. The easiest way to do this is to pop the Tidal Bell in your storage and then just carry on playing Pokopia. When you hear a roar, look to the sky and see if Lugia is flying by. It will turn up eventually, but you may see Ho-Oh instead.
When Lugia is present, place the Tidal Bell and give it a ring. This will catch Lugia’s attention and it will fly down for a chat!
The first time you do this, Lugia will be added to your Pokédex. Keep in mind that you can not make a habitat for Lugia. Instead, it will return to the sky once you leave the area or close the game. You can summon Lugia whenever it’s flying by though and it’s worth doing so as it might give you a Silver Feather.
