WWE 2K26 launches on March 13, 2026 for Standard Edition owners, although Early Access has been available since March 6 for owners of the Attitude Era, King of Kings, and Monday Night War Editions. The game’s career mode is focussed on CM Punk, who provides the narrative voiceover and depicts various highlights from Punk’s career while also offering Fantasy Warfare matches against multiple WWE legends. Meanwhile, the game’s roster features over 400 playable characters including superstars from the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide — a first for the franchise. In WWE 2K26 debuts the Dumpster match and brings back I Quit, Inferno Match, and 3 Stages of Hell, while the intergender matches have been expanded following their debut in last year’s entry.

The Ringside Pass is a brand-new feature, so like anything new, it’ll require some time and attention to get it just right. We have some adjustments to share with you as part of Patch 1.04*.

So far we’ve seen the player experience not being exactly what’s intended, so we’re implementing some changes with Patch 1.04, including:

Custom Matches will now award RXP
– RXP earn rates for matches increased by 20%
– Match Complete: 25 (current) > 30
– Match Win Bonus: 85 (current) > 105
– Minimum match time requirement added for Match Win RXP rewards
– If a match is completed faster than 60 seconds, players will receive completion RXP, but not additional win bonuses. We know you’re enjoying making Eric Bischoff tap out, but let’s give poor “Eazy E” a breather.

  • Stability and Performance improvements
  • Addressed reported concerns over earnable RXP
  • Addressed reported concerns over Game Pass subscriptions being required to access The Island and MyFaction
  • Addressed reported concerns over 2K account linking occasionally not working
  • Addressed reported concerns with Dominik reward mask
  • Addressed reported concerns of various attacks not working as intended

Island

  • Addressed reported concerns over performance issues when playing The Island.
