Final Fantasy XIV Studio Confirms Live Letter 92 And North America Fanfest Details – PlayStation Universe

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XIV Live Letter 92, which will be live on Twitch/Google on Friday, 17 April, 2026, at 12:00 BST/21:00 AEST. This will be the second part of the FFXIV 7.5 announcements from the publisher. With the previous Live Letter, we got some details on the upcoming patch 7.5, but with the upcoming second part, Square Enix will offer more in-depth information, including screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming content. Fans should also expect some footage of Beastmaster, plus details for the new Ultimate Raid (although this will probably be limited to the name of the Raid). After all, Ultimate content is often kept secret until after the playerbase has completed it.

I am looking forward to 7.5. As someone who played FFXI a tonne in the past, my main excitement is to see what the new alliance raid set in Windurst will have. They teased Shantotto in the original live letter, and we may see more information based on the alliance raid, plus some of the rewards should be showcased during this part of the live letter.

I personally don’t anticipate a huge amount of new information to be announced during the Live Letter, but we will get a lot more details on everything we’ve previously heard about. This then leads into Fanfest, which is the big real-life celebration for FFXIV. The First Fanfest will take place on April 24 in North America, with European and Japanese fanfests taking place at a later date.

The schedule will be as follows:

Friday, 24th April, Day 1

18:00 – 20:15 (BST) / Saturday, 25 April at 3:00 – 5:15 (AEST) Keynote: This will have all the key information on the next upcoming expansion pack; this is probably the most important part of the show for quite a lot of people. There has been a vocal bunch that dislike the current expansion, and though it has its flaws, I do hope they can improve it for the next expansion. The battle content has been amazing, but the job system and endgame rewards have been a bit outdated for a while now.

20:15 – 20:30 (BST) / Saturday, 25 April, at 5:15 – 5:30 (AEST) Welcome Ceremony: This is just to introduce staff and everyone to the event.

21:15 – 22:15 (BST) / Saturday, 25 April, at 6:15 – 7:15 (AEST) The Roulette Game Show: This is a new event for Fanfest; several different content creators will be going up on stage to undertake different trials, and will include some of the game’s best and well-known content creators. I can’t wait to see this part of FanFest, if I’m honest. Also, folk at the event can vote on specific challenges, though no real details are available on this yet.

22:45 – 00:45 (BST) / Saturday, 25 April, at 7:45 – 9:45 (AEST) Development Panel: The battle system director Hikaru Tamaki and producer/director Naoki Yoshida will be talking about the development of FFXIV.

Saturday, 25th April 1:00 – 2:00 (BST) / 10:00 – 11:00 (AEST) Glamoured to Life – Cosplay Walk; We will get to see some insane and amazing cosplayers as they show themselves off based on in-game characters.

Saturday, 25th April 3:00 – 4:00 (BST) / 12:00 – 13:00 (AEST) Piano Concert The lights dim, and the stunning Keiko returns to the stage with some incredible performances from the game.

(You will need to purchase the concerts if you wish to stream them; they are free for people at the event but will not be streamed on YT/Twitch without purchase.) Details coming soon.

Saturday, 25th April: Day 2

18:00 – 20:00 (BST) / Sunday, 26 April, at 3:00 – 5:00 (AEST) Crystalline Conflict Regional Championship 2026 North America: FFXIV has some incredible people who play PvP, so tune in for this hard-battling event hosted by some of the most talented casters in the PvP community.

21:00 – 22:30 (BST) / Sunday, 26 April, at 6:00 – 7:30 (AEST) From Tacos to Tenders: Serving up the lyrics of FFXIV, Koji Fox has been providing music for over a decade now. Come join us as he talks about the process of making FFXIV music! Bring the big fat tacos.

23:30 – 00:45 (BST) / Sunday, 26 April at 8:30 – 9:45 (AEST) A / random Q&A with Yoshida. During fanfest, you will have the ability to submit questions for Naoki Yoshida to answer. This will happen during this section of the event. There will also be some RNG involved, and depending on what the dice rolls, he might have some very tough questions to answer.

Sunday 26th April, 3:00 – 4:00 (BST) / 12:00 – 13:00 (AEST): THE PRIMALS Live. THE PRIMALS, the rock band made from internal FFXIV producers, led by Masayoshi Soken, return to Fanfest. This, like the piano concert, will wrap up the event, and if watching online, you will need to purchase a streaming pass for the music performance.

I can’t wait to watch all this information live, and if you want to check out our previous Live Letter information, you can check the link here!
