The Screaming Vault puzzle in Crimson Desert is one of many Ancient Ruins that’ll task you with exploring and taking careful note of your surroundings in Demeniss.
That’s because the answer lies outside of the vault itself, painted onto scarecrows. If you don’t fancy adventuring too far or aren’t sure where these scarecrows, and therefore your answers, can be found, here’s how to solve the Screaming Vault puzzle in Crimson Desert.

Crimson Desert Screaming Vault puzzle solution
The Screaming Vault puzzle consists of three wheels displaying three different patterns, and your goal is to rotate them to display the pattern in the correct position.
The patterns you need – and their desired positions – can be found around Demeniss and you’ll need to use the map found within the Screaming Vault to track them down. Don’t worry, they’re not too far from the puzzle itself.

Screaming Vault Clue 1
The first pattern is found directly north of the Screaming Vault, plastered on the chest of a scarecrow in one of the fields.
Screaming Vault Clue 2
The second pattern is found northwest of the above scarecrow and directly west of Furlington Farm. It is another scarecrow, beside a hut, that has a pattern on its chest.
Screaming Vault Clue 3
The third pattern is found on yet another scarecrow’s chest. This time, it’s a few meters north of the second scarecrow and directly southeast of Stonewell Farm.

The Screaming Vault puzzle is located in Demeniss. It is directly west of Demeniss Castle, in between Rustleleaf Farm and the Abandoned Ruins.
