The Azure Moon Labyrinth in Crimson Desert isn’t as horrible as it sounds, though its entrance is laden with traps for you to avoid as the approach the puzzle found at the end of the cave.
This puzzle, unlike the Ancient Ruins you may have been tackling, requires visiting a mysterious village to solve. Or you can use the answers from this guide if you don’t fancy the journey right now. Here’s the Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle solution in Crimson Desert.

Crimson Desert Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle solution
Upon entering the Azure Moon Labyrinth for the first time in Crimson Desert, be prepared for trouble in the form of multiple spike traps and flame traps. Carefully navigate these by climbing the walls on your left to reach the very bottom of the cave you’re in, where you’ll finally be met with a puzzle consisting of eight blocks labeled with various letter-like symbols.
The goal of this puzzle is to hit the five specific blocks – in any order – using your Focus Palm ability. The blocks you need to hit are ultimately revealed to you by visiting five nearby locations and includes completing a nearby Quest, The Unreachable Village; the map for where you find this quest is conveniently on the wall outside of the Azure Moon Labyrinth’s puzzle room.
If you’d rather save some time spent completing that and simply know how to solve the puzzle, here’s the solution. Remember, you can hit each of these symbols in any order, just be careful to not accidentally hit two symbols at once.
The symbols you must hit in the Azure Moon Labyrinth are:
- P
- P with an additional line
- P with three additional lines
- F
- F with an additional line
After solving the puzzle, a glowing blue podium is revealed where you can retrieve an Abyss Cresset from. Upon picking the item up, you’ll also have the Memory of Tide Key Item added to your inventory, which ‘grants knowledge of hidden places’.
Continue past the podium to then exit the Azure Moon Labyrinth safely!
If you’re instead going about this the intended way, you’ll want to make markers on your map in the same locations as those revealed to you by the map outside of the Labyrinth. We’ve also marked these on the below map from MapGenie:
Then, head to Pororin Village, though you’ll be knocked unconscious upon getting close. Do this twice more so that you’ve been knocked out a total of three times, and you’ll be given The Unreachable Village Quest to complete. Upon completing this quest, you’ll be allowed to explore Pororin Village and its surroundings.
When you’re able to explore the village, you’re looking for five different trees in the surrounding forested area – marked on the above map – that correspond with the crosses marked on the Labyrinth map. On each of these trees, you’ll find one of the five symbols that you must hit inside of the Labyrinth carved into them.
Crimson Desert Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle location
The Azure Moon Labyrinth is located in The Witchwoods, which is southeast of Hernand City. It lies inside a cave that’s located beneath the Phoniel Ranch Stronghold in the area.
The Labyrinth’s entrance is within the wooden shack – in the Phoniel Ranch – pictured below. There’ll also be a cave entrance nearby that you may find, but this is actually the Labyrinth’s exit which only opens up after solving the puzzle.
