How to wait in Crimson Desert

Knowing how to wait in Crimson Desert will help you pass time. This could be for any number of reasons, including waiting until night falls to get up to some criminal activities, or waiting for daybreak to participate in some minigames.

How to wait in Crimson Desert

You can wait in Crimson Desert by sleeping in a bed or resting at a campfire. You can also automatically skip time to start a quest when you’re near a quest marker, though we recommend only doing this should you want to actually do the quest at hand.

Sleeping in a Bed

You can approach any bed and interact with it to sleep to pass time. You can even sleep in someone’s bed after robbing them.

To rest in a bed to pass time, simply walk up to it and interact with it. Then, set the amount of hours you want to sleep for using the indicated commands in the bottom right corner of the screen. Confirm your choice and Kliff will settle down for a rest, when he wakes the time will have changed.

Quest Auto-Skip

This one we recommend only doing if you want to take on the quest the quest marker is for. If you’re wanting to do a quest but it’s not yet time, walk up to the quest marker and use the prompted command to ‘Wait’ for the right start time for it.

Resting at a Campfire

To pass time at a Campfire simply walk up to it and interact with it, remember to choose ‘Wait’ to pass time. Again, you can choose how many hours you’d like to wait.
