Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, the third chapter in the franchise following Remothered: Tormented Fathers and Remothered: Broken Porcelain, is launching in 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S, Stormind Games and Soft Source have announced.
Set thirteen months after six young girls vanished in Sicily, heroine Susan uncovers a mysterious recording that ignites hope that her daughter might still be alive, and travels to a decaying noble residence on the slopes of Mount Etna — the place where everything seems to have originated. Upon searching the grounds, Susan comes embroiled in a new journey that sees family secrets, memory, and obsession intertwine in a terrifying new tale.
Billed as a homage to old-school horror, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy has players exploring a richly-detailed environment while unearthing clues and key items, as well as tracking brain-teasing riddles and evading blood-thirsty foes. Susan can also read objectives to unveil forgotten memories, expose hidden passages, and reshape your understanding of the environment, while learning the forgotten story of the convent, where the myth of the Red Nun originated.
